Parking lots fill up early on weekends, holidays, and fee free days.During this period, passes can be purchased at the Entrance Station before entering the Conservation Area. Reservations are NOT required from June 1 through September 30.Re-entry into the Scenic Drive after your one-hour entry reservation will require a new reservation.

Advanced reservations may be booked up until the start time of your desired entry time as availability allows. It’s recommended you purchase tickets in advance online at or using the mobile app.

Visitors must have a timed entry reservation for each day they plan to enter.

A vehicle must be through the fee station at 8 am to be able to come in without a reservation.

Reservations are required October 1 to May 31, 8 am- 5 pm.

From the parking locations there are 21 different trails to explore the peak tops, rolling sandstone ridges, steep walled canyons which highlight special wildlife, vegetation, and cultural history. The world class visitor center at the beginning of the drive provides a great introduction to the unique natural and cultural history of this area along with safety and orientation information. There are 12 different parking areas with trailheads to begin your next outdoor adventure. The Scenic Drive, a 13 mile-one-way paved road, provides access to explore the many special canyons and sandstone hills in the heart of the Conservation Area. The area is visited by more than three million visitors each year. RRCNCA is approximately 198,000 acres and located 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159.
